Red, White, & Blue Skewers
Perfect for a summer grillout, this easy dessert is ready in no time!
If you’re looking for a quick, festive summer treat, look no further! You could always go a little more homemade and make brownies and marshmallows but when I made this for a grillout, I chose to grab the premade brownie bites and premade jumbo marshmallows as well. This was such an easy dessert to throw together in the midst of trying to prepare other foods. And they were such a hit with the perfect amount of chocolate with fruit! I did however forget the step of hulling the strawberries, so it could have been a teensy bit prettier but no one minded!
What You Need:
9×13 inch pan of brownies, chilled and cut into 1-inch cubes -OR- prepared brownie bites
1 pint blueberries, washed
1 pint strawberries, washed (and hulled)
Large marshmallows
Hot fudge sauce for drizzling
Directions:
Using wooden or metal skewers, alternate threading brownies, blueberries, strawberries, and marshmallows.
Drizzle with hot fudge and refrigerate until ready to serve.
