Bacon Pickle Pizza
Calling all pickle lovers to make this delicious pickle pizza with bacon!
I make a pickle pizza recipe that is a copycat and has an amazing white garlic sauce. However, my protein fiends in my house don’t love that it’s meatless. This was my compromise and it’s a good one! The sauce is more of an light olive oil base and there’s a little bit of protein with the bacon. It’s a fantastic combo.
What You Need:
2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 premade pizza crust
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup dill pickle slices
4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 Tbsp. freshly chopped dill
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Ranch dressing for serving (optional)
Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together olive, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Prep a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper and top with pizza crust.
Brush crust with oil mixture.
Then top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Top with pickles and bacon and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
Top with dill and red pepper flakes and serve with ranch, if desired.
