4-Ingredient Cake Batter Dip
This sweet appetizer is cake batter in a bowl and perfect with fruit, graham crackers, and more!
When a recipe says it takes a small amount of ingredients, I am on board. This recipe only takes 4 ingredients, but 5 if you really want to add a little extra pizzazz with extra sprinkles outside of what comes in the cake mix. We chose dunking strawberries in this but graham crackers or animal crackers would be really great for a little Dunkaroo type situation.
What You Need:
8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
8 oz. whipped topping, thawed
1 box Funfetti cake mix, unprepared
1/3 to 2/3 cup milk
Sprinkles (optional)
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and whipped topping until smooth and creamy.
Add cake mix and 1/3 cup milk. Stir with a spoon until combined.
If the mixture is too thick, add additional milk, a little at a time, up to an additional 1/3 cup (no more than 2/3 cup milk total).
If you want, add sprinkles (that makes it 5 ingredient cake batter dip!). Stir gently.
Serve with graham crackers, animal crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, fresh fruit, etc.
