Peppermint Puppy Chow
A holiday sweet treat that only takes 4 ingredients!
Each year my family makes at least one type of Chex mix whether it’s savory or sweet. We have seemingly been on a bit of a puppy chow kick in recent years and usually make a sugar cookie muddy buddy recipe BUT we definitely had to try this one. We immediately loved it and even left some for Santa’s reindeer!
What You Need:
5 cups Rice Chex cereal
10 oz. white chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup crushed peppermint candy canes
3/4 cup powdered sugar
Optional: chopped Ghirardelli peppermint bark
Directions:
Add cereal to a large bowl and set aside.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler, then pour over cereal and toss to coat.
Fold in candy canes.
Add to a large zipper bag and then add powdered sugar. Give it a good shake to coat.
Optional: toss in chopped peppermint bark candy.
