Lemon Herbed Grilled Pork Chops

Marinated pork chops perfectly cooked on the grill for a great summer main dish!

I just had to share another grill recipe this week and we have been eating more pork chops recently, so this recipe is on my mind. It has a basic but delicious marinade and is grilled pretty quickly, so it’s a great recipe for the summertime. We prepped some veggies on skewers - zucchini, bell pepper, and tomatoes - to serve up with the pork chops.

What You Need:

  • 4 to 6 bone-in thick cut pork chops

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil

  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients except pork chops in a small bowl and then add to a large zipper bag with the pork chops.

  2. Marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.

  3. Remove pork from marinade and let excess drip off.

  4. Grill pork chops on a preheated grill at medium-high heat about 5 to 6 minutes per side.

  5. Let rest on a plate for 5 minutes before serving.
