Garlic Parmesan Roasted Broccoli

A basic but amazing roasted broccoli recipe with garlic, parmesan, and a bit of lemon.

We eat a lot of broccoli in our house. My kids tend to like steamed broccoli but Nick and I love roasted broccoli, so I definitely had to try Ree Drummond’s roasted broccoli recipe. It’s a basic recipe but a solid one and one that we are using on the regular!

What You Need:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 5 garlic cloves

  • 1 lb. broccoli, broken up into florets

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/2 lemon

  • 2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Pour olive oil in a small bowl and stir in garlic.

  2. Add broccoli on a sheet pan and pour garlic oil over the top.

  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste and gently toss.

  4. Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 10 minutes.

  5. Squeeze lemon juice over the top and then sprinkle Parmesan on top.

  6. Return to oven for 5 to 7 minutes or until Parmesan is melted OR browned - depending on what you like!

  7. Toss and serve!
