Chicken Alfredo Pizza
Pasta on a pizza? No, but put all those flavors onto a pizza and reap the benefits!
I have recently been on a not-red-sauce pizza kick and having been loving either a light garlicky olive oil or garlic sauces. Basically just give me the garlicky sauces because they are the best. This was, of course, a winner in my household where everyone loves chicken pizza and chicken alfredo and putting the two together is a good idea.
What You Need:
3/4 lb. pizza dough
Flour
Cornmeal
3/4 cup alfredo sauce
1/2 cup chopped spinach
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup chopped chicken breast
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
4 slices bacon, cooked
Chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
Spread pizza dough out into a 12 to 14-inch circle on a lightly floured counter.
Transfer dough to a pizza peel or pan lightly dusted with cornmeal.
Spread alfredo sauce on top leaving a bit around the edge for the crust.
Spread chopped spinach, mozzarella, chicken, Parm, and bacon in that order on top of the sauce.
Bake pizza in a preheated 500 degree oven for 8 to 12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is golden and bubbly.
Let sit for 4 to 5 minutes then slice. Top with parsley and serve!
