Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Pasta on a pizza? No, but put all those flavors onto a pizza and reap the benefits!

I have recently been on a not-red-sauce pizza kick and having been loving either a light garlicky olive oil or garlic sauces. Basically just give me the garlicky sauces because they are the best. This was, of course, a winner in my household where everyone loves chicken pizza and chicken alfredo and putting the two together is a good idea.

What You Need:

  • 3/4 lb. pizza dough

  • Flour

  • Cornmeal

  • 3/4 cup alfredo sauce

  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup chopped chicken breast

  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked

  • Chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

  1. Spread pizza dough out into a 12 to 14-inch circle on a lightly floured counter.

  2. Transfer dough to a pizza peel or pan lightly dusted with cornmeal.

  3. Spread alfredo sauce on top leaving a bit around the edge for the crust.

  4. Spread chopped spinach, mozzarella, chicken, Parm, and bacon in that order on top of the sauce.

  5. Bake pizza in a preheated 500 degree oven for 8 to 12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is golden and bubbly.

  6. Let sit for 4 to 5 minutes then slice. Top with parsley and serve!
