2-Ingredient Pizza Dough
An easy, no-rise pizza crust made with just 2 ingredients!
I cannot tell you how happy I was to see a pizza dough recipe that boasts not only being 2 ingredient but also one that doesn’t need to rise. I have a go-to recipe that I love and make from memory all the time BUT I often times forget to make it a couple hours ahead of dinnertime and then we don’t get to have pizza that night. This one is very easy and doesn’t take a lot of effort. We made the rest of the pizza per the blogger’s suggestion and it was great. Exactly what you want in a pizza. I definitely will be making more than one next time though because we demolished just one.
What You Need:
For the Crust:
1 3/4 cups self rising flour, plus some*
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
For the Pizza:
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups pizza cheese blend
Pepperoni
Parmesan cheese (the shaker kind!)
Directions:
For the Crust: Add flour and yogurt to a large mixing bowl and mix with a rubber spatula until a ball of dough forms. If you need to use your hands to help combine it, you can. Add an additional 1/4 cup of flour, if needed
Spread onto a greased 12-inch round pizza pan.
Bake in a preheated 500 degree oven for 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and reduce heat to 450 degrees.
Top with pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
Bake an additional 6 to 8 minutes (at 450) until cheese melts and crust is golden brown.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese after pulling from the oven.
*Notes: If you are in a pinch, make your own self rising flour by combining 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, and 1/2 tsp. salt.
