Crunchwrap Supreme Burgers
When it’s burger night but you’re craving tacos, cook up this twist on Crunchwrap Supremes!
My family eats homemade crunchwraps often and we also have burgers every other week for the most part. This was, obviously, right up our alley. It doesn’t stray too much from the way crunchwraps are made with taco meat - you literally just make a taco burger instead of crumbled taco meat. It also isn’t anywhere near a copycat of Applebee’s quesadilla burgers, but it is similar enough to make me a happy camper because I love that burger!
What You Need:
1 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. taco seasoning
5 large flour tortillas with 1 cut into 4 smaller circles
2/3 cup nacho cheese or salsa con queso
4 tostadas
2/3 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese
Directions:
Add ground beef to a bowl and add taco seasoning. Combine and form into four equal patties.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook burgers until browned on each side and cooked through. Set aside and wipe out pan.
Heat 4 tortillas for 20 seconds in the microwave. Top each one with a burger patty.
Then top each with cheese sauce, tostada, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and cheese blend.
Place a smaller circle of tortilla on top of each and fold to seal.
Add 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil to the skillet over medium heat.
Add crunchwraps seam side down into the pan and cook until golden brown for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
