Alton's Waffles // The perfect recipe for fluffy, light buttermilk waffles every time!

I have made many waffle recipes over the years and I definitely have some favorites that I like to make occasionally. This recipe is definitely getting added to the repertoire because it was easy and made wonderful, light, fluffy waffles.

  • 1 tsp. baking powder

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar

  • 3 large eggs, beaten

  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

  2. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs with melted butter. Then mix in the buttermilk.

  3. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

  4. Let rest for 5 minutes.

  5. Ladle batter into a preheated waffle iron.

  6. Cook according to waffle iron directions until golden brown on both sides.
